We work alongside contractors, developers, engineers, environmental professionals, and project teams to install systems that help protect buildings and their occupants.We are seeking a qualified Construction Safety Representative to provide full-time safety oversight for an active construction project in the Forest Park, Georgia area.This is a dedicated, non-working safety position. The Safety Representative will not perform construction craft or production work and must remain on-site whenever the Clean Vapor workforce is active.The right candidate will have an active construction safety certification, strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, and experience overseeing high-risk activities on industrial, data center, or large commercial construction projects.<h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Maintain a full-time, non-working safety presence on-site whenever the workforce is active</li><li>Monitor construction activities to support compliance with company policies, project requirements, and applicable safety regulations</li><li>Conduct and document multiple safety observations each week</li><li>Submit safety observations through the project's designated safety management platform</li><li>Participate in daily pre-task planning, morning safety huddles, and project coordination meetings</li><li>Review and support Activity Hazard Analyses for all assigned scopes of work</li><li>Monitor the implementation of controls for high-risk construction activities</li><li>Enforce fall protection requirements throughout the project</li><li>Support permit planning and coordination for hot work, confined spaces, lockout/tagout, crane operations, excavations, and other permit-required activities</li><li>Identify and immediately address unsafe acts or working conditions</li><li>Exercise Stop Work Authority when an unsafe condition or activity is identified</li><li>Participate in incident investigations and assist with the development of corrective actions</li><li>Attend weekly safety committee meetings</li><li>Participate in work-planning and high-risk activity forecasting meetings</li><li>Confirm that workers have completed all required orientation and onboarding before beginning work</li><li>Prepare and submit weekly toolbox talks and daily pre-task plans as required</li><li>Maintain current safety performance information, incident records, and related documentation</li><li>Conduct daily worker-readiness assessments during morning huddles</li><li>Support clear safety communication across a diverse and potentially multilingual workforce</li><li>Monitor compliance with project-specific personal protective equipment requirements</li><li>Promote a professional, respectful, and accountable safety culture throughout the project</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Required Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related technical field</li><li>Active safety certification, such as:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STS-C)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Certified Safety Professional (CSP)</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Comparable recognized safety credential</li><li>At least three years of construction supervision experience</li><li>Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification</li><li>Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications</li><li>Strong working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 construction standards</li><li>Experience overseeing high-risk construction activities, including:</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Confined-space work</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Hot work</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Crane and lifting operations</li><li class="ql-indent-1">Energy isolation and lockout/tagout</li><li>Ability and willingness to maintain a full-time on-site presence whenever construction crews are working</li><li>Ability to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action</li><li>Willingness to exercise Stop Work Authority when necessary</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Ability to communicate safety expectations respectfully and professionally</li><li>Strong organizational and documentation skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively with project managers, supervisors, craft workers, contractors, and client representatives</li><li>Willingness to comply with Clean Vapor's safety policies and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Preferred Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Experience working on data center, industrial, or large commercial construction projects</li><li>Familiarity with construction safety management and reporting platforms</li><li>Experience managing permits for excavation, hot work, confined-space entry, crane operations, or lockout/tagout activities</li><li>Experience reviewing Activity Hazard Analyses and high-risk work plans</li><li>Experience supporting multilingual construction teams</li><li>Additional construction safety certifications or specialized safety training</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Personal Protective Equipment Requirements</h2>The Safety Representative will monitor compliance with all applicable project-specific personal protective equipment requirements, including, at minimum:<ul><li>Helmet-style hard hats with chin straps</li><li>Safety glasses compliant with ANSI Z87.1</li><li>Gloves meeting at least ANSI cut level 5</li><li>Additional protective equipment required by the task, project, or job-site conditions</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt; margin-top: 18pt;">Work Environment</h2><ul><li>Full-time work performed on an active construction site</li><li>Required presence whenever the assigned workforce is active</li><li>Regular walking and standing throughout active work areas</li><li>Exposure to changing weather and construction-site conditions</li><li>Work around heavy equipment, lifting operations, excavations, hot work, and other high-risk activities</li><li>Participation in morning huddles, coordination meetings, inspections, and safety-planning activities</li><li>Potential schedule flexibility based on construction operations and project needs</li></ul><h2 style="margin-bottom: 4pt;
